New moles on the Move.

More and more customers are phoning to say the have new mole activity. This is the time of year that young moles have left their mothers nest and have set off in search of their own feeding grounds. For some this means a dangerous dash over ground or in runs just underneath the surface. At this time they are at their most vulnerable to predators such as owls and small carnivorous animals. So if your cat suddenly appears with a mole or your lawn erupts in molehills it is likely a young mole trying to move in. As always with moles trying to catch them quickly before they can do too much damage is the key. One new mole this year will lead to several next year.
