Brief business description

Set in beautiful gardens which are in turn set in the heart of Mabie Forest this 18th Century Listed building is carefully being restored to its former glory. It is an impressive sandstone built two story building with original stained glass windows and grand entrance hall. Since taking over the Hotel four years ago we have completely refurbished all the lower floor rooms and seven bedrooms as well as a luxury suite. We have a bar lounge, a function room, an intimate dining room, a new library room and a mahogany panelled entrance hall complete with open fires, antique rugs and comfortable chairs and settees to relax into. We are now starting a further refurbishment programme on the remaining bedrooms.The Dining room offers excellent food and wines in stylish surroundings. Ed Shaw, our Head Chef, will be aiming to achieve Rosettes for his culinary skills in the Dining Room as indeed he has received these accolades in the past. We also have a Lounge Bar which offers a Dinner Menu as well as a Blackboard which changes on a daily basis.
