Abbey Cottage
Abbey Cottage at New Abbey near Dumfries is in a lovely location. New Abbey is a small, tranquil village. Sweetheart Abbey is next to the coffee shop and really interesting to visit.Abbey Cottage has a lovely gift shop with loads different little gifts which you may not find elsewhere. The coffee shop serves a lovely selection of teas, coffees and home baking. The also have a large selection of snacks and meals available so there is something to suit all tastes and it is good value for money.Shambellie House is also nearby (costume museum where they often have childrens workshops) so you could easily spend a day at New Abbey and visit Abbey Cottage for morning coffee and lunch!
