  Ignorant staff, limited menu with smoke from customers and the kitchen hanging around you. Very small inside and has a horrible interior.

  Not a nice place to be. Italian name with fake cooking.

  Waste of money.

• The best for miles around

  I no longer live in Dumfries but visited this restaurant last year. I have since been back every time I have visited the area. The quality of the food is first class and the menu shows great imagination. The fusion of traditional Scottish cuisine with an Italian/Mediterranean twist is a winner. Amazing produce cooked with love, affection and no shortage of flair. The wine list is expertly chosen, the prices represent excellent value and the service is superb. Excellent all round.
