Allison & Hunter to the Rescue!

I ran out of oil at teatime last night... heavy snow and ice still abounds here in the Scottish Borders as I write this. At just after 8am this morning, I rang to order more oil and explained I had run out. With no guarantee that they could deliver today, I did not expect delivery until tomorrow (Thursday). Imagine my surprise when the lorry turned up at just after 10 (2 hrs later!!) and not only did the pleasant young man deliver the oil, but he also offered to restart the boiler.. which is not an easy task at the best of time. He refused any offer to compensate him for his trouble and was delighted to be able to help. 5 * for Allison & Hunter who I will use from now on. By the way... they are also a lot cheaper than the other suppliers in Central Scotland, so I would give them 10 * if I could. Clare Darwish Abington Road Symington Biggar
